Kenneth Deane Jones, affectionately known as Kenny, was born on June 14, 1976, in Anacortes, Washington, where he spent most of his life. He passed away on November 3, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Kenny was a devoted father to his daughters Allison and Sydney who were the center of his world. He cherished every moment spent with them, often sharing his passion for the outdoors through camping and fishing. His love for family and friends was evident in everything he did, and he was known for his infectious sense of humor and captivating storytelling.
As a commercial fisherman and captain, Kenny spent much of his life on the water, a calling that he embraced with enthusiasm. He held a deep admiration for the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, finding joy and solace in its breathtaking landscapes. His favorite pastimes included observing the boats come and go from the harbor, bird watching, cooking and his special fondness for watching football.
Kenny was the son of Sheryl Ann Deane Jones and Kenneth George Jones, he is survived by his daughters Allison, Sydney, and Ashlyn. His brothers John, Mike, and Kelly. His sisters Shannon, Jennifer, and Lanae. Niece Casey and her children. He was proud of his roots and held a close bond with his family, often speaking fondly of his childhood memories in Anacortes.
Throughout his life, Kenny lived by the motto of "live life to the fullest," a principle he instilled in those around him. His kind heart and willingness to help others made a lasting impact on many lives. He will be remembered for his warmth, laughter, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
Kenny leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a reminder to embrace life and each other. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
