Larry Mitchell Cauble passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at his home in Portland, Oregon. Born on October 17, 1973, in San Jose, California, Larry was the beloved son of Kenneth Cauble and Janice (Elliott) Mecham. His kind heart and gentle spirit were a source of comfort and admiration to all who knew him.

At the age of three and a half, Larry's family moved to Anacortes, Washington, where he enjoyed the warmth and connection of his extended family, a bond he treasured throughout his life. Later, the family relocated to Bakersfield, California, where Larry graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1991.

Following high school, Larry pursued a variety of jobs before proudly enlisting in the U.S. Army. During his service, he worked as a mechanic, a role in which he thrived, and was stationed in Seoul, South Korea, and Fort Lewis, Washington. After three years of dedicated  service, Larry received an honorable discharge.

Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents and several uncles and cousins. He is survived by his parents, stepmother Hedy Cauble, stepfather Jimmy Mecham, his brother Brian and sister-in-law Sheena Cauble, as well as many loving cousins, uncles, aunts, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
