Traci Lynn Kiesser, 51, passed away on August 25, 2024, after battling breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Traci was a person of strong faith and attended Anacortes First Life Assembly of God all of her life.

Traci was born on February 22, 1973, in Mount Vernon, WA to Rick and Judy Kiesser. Traci was raised in Anacortes where she attended public school. During her K-12 years she played multiple sports (see AHS wall of fame), participated in various clubs, and enjoyed family vacations.

After graduating from Anacortes High School she attended Skagit Valley College and Western WA University, where she graduated with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education. In 1997 she began teaching for the Mount Vernon school district. She was an amazing teacher! Her specialty was being an ESL teacher and recently was a reading teacher. After 27 years, she will be greatly missed by all of her students and faculty.

In 2008, while on a trip to Zambia with her church, she met and fell in love with her only son, Juster Lynn Musongo Kiesser. She soon adopted Juster and brought him home to Mount Vernon. Raising Juster was the most wonderful time of her life. Together, they enjoyed many happy times. They liked camping, many sports (football!!), traveling on vacations and spending time with family.

Traci is survived by her parents, Rick and Judy Kiesser, Brother Corey (Tracy) Kiesser, Son Juster Kiesser, Nephew Jay (LeAnne) Kiesser, Uncle Ron (Rachelle) Kiesser, Uncle Larry (Terry) Adkerson, Uncle Don Adkerson and numerous cousins and friends.
