Tyson Christopher Royal, 35, of Eastsound, WA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 28, 2023, in Anacortes, WA.  He was born on February 15, 1988, in Bakersfield, CA, to Rodney Scott Royal and Cynthia Marie Kosareff.

Tyson spent his life being a light within the darkness of this world for so many people. Tyson was a good man who showed everyone kindness. If you asked anyone who grew up with Tyson, they would be quick to say how selfless he was, one saying, "he would give the shirt off his back without thinking twice about it" or "even with only $10 in his pocket he would use it to feed you if you were hungry" Tyson loved being around his friends and family and making people laugh. He was always there with a listening ear and would do anything that he could if you were in need.

He loved to be social and be out with friends, bonding, listening to music, and just hanging out. He was happiest in the kitchen and had a passion not only for food but for feeding others and how food brought people together. He enjoyed playing video games and taking care of his plants, and he had a strong bond with and loved his dogs very much. He enjoyed kayaking and being out on the water. Family was very important to him, and In his teenage years, he was a protector for his younger siblings as well as his cousins, and he took that role very seriously. He was loyal in all aspects of his life and an honest person. After all the good years and all the work he put into creating a good life for himself and others around him, this life and world failed him. Tyson suffered many heartbreaks that broke his spirit. He deserved more in this life.  Words alone will never be able to say how much he is loved and will be missed, this is a big loss on his entire family and everyone who loved him.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastsound, WA.
